Ancient Astronauts are back with a tight Dancehall and Hip Hop banger featuring Ugandan singer C Wyne Nalukalala. On “Do It” the Rastaman from Kireka town in Kampala praises the magic of the ladies on the dancefloor. After a long lockdown and closed clubs and bars during the Covid-19 pandemic in Uganda C Wyne motivates the ladies to “do it as you never do it before” to celebrate life and personal freedom.

Uganda´s population had to suffer a really hard and long lockdown. Poverty and hunger spread enormously during the pandemic. Especially in a country whose population´s average age is around 17 and Covid-19 cases were way lower than compared to western societies the outcry of the people was huge to end the restrictions. So when finally the restrictions were lifted again it felt like a new beginning again, maybe even like a new life for many Ugandans.

“Do It” is meant to be an anthem for the good life again, for the moment of freedom that you feel when you hit the dancefloor and shake it off. And remember the words of C Wyne Nalukalala, “it´s a hot gyal party”.

Much respect to all the ladies that give inspiration to the men to move their body and show them they “are bad inna dis” (compliment). You are the queens of the dancefloor. We love you!!!
