We would like to introduce you to our newest artist Two Eyes One Truth who is a producer and drummer from Italy. His sound is a funky mix of heavy drums, beautiful melodies and cinematic atmospheres that create an infectious groove that takes your mind to new soundscapes that have yet to be explored.

Here you can read his own description for his music:

“I'm Simone Guizzo, aka Two Eyes One Truth. I am a drummer and my music for me is a tool to communicate with myself. My expressive pillar is rhythm. Each of my pieces stems from the need to give concrete form to an image, a memory or a past emotion. I like to use an ambiguous and often contradictory language to do so, which is an expression of a heterogeneous background. This includes many experiences in different bands, in the most disparate genres (from metal to pop), before moving on to electronics.

My main source of inspiration is the London electronic music and breakbeat scene, in particular some Ninja Tune artists such as Amon Tobin, Bonobo, Tycho, Machinedrum, Lapalux, but also Burial, Jon Hopkins, Bicep, Ivy Lab. I like to be influenced by very different kinds of music, often seeking for dark shades and atmospheric sound design, as well as overpowering grooves or sophisticated rhythms.

I have a visual tendency, I frequently like to use cinematic nuances and I always associate my tracks with a particular situational or psychological context. I am constantly looking for a sound that is both powerful and melancholy at the same time.”
